Chauncey Morehouse grew up in Chambersburg and became the drummer for the popular jazz ensemble The Jean Goldkette Orchestra. The group played in the Capitol Theatre the year it was built, 1927.

Josh Duffee is regarded as a top notch 1920’s style percussionist and has performed worldwide.  Chauncey Morehouse is one of Josh’s jazz drumming influences.

The Graystone Monarchs take the stage to play inside the Capitol Theatre on Wednesday, July 22nd. This will be the first time that the music of the Jean Goldkette Orchestra has graced the stage since 1927.

This event is FREE! Please join us for a wonderful evening of hot jazz and dance music!
