Letterkenny Cemetery Tour

Letterkenny Army Depot will host a two-hour bus tour of Letterkenny cemeteries Friday, June 29, departing from the Building 10 headquarters at 9 a.m.

Cemetery sites include Besore family, Schlichter family, Pleasant Hill Brethren in Christ Church, Boyer Farm family, Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church, Upper Strasburg Mennonite Church, Old Order York Brethren and Zion Lutheran and German Reformed Church.

Those interested in taking the tour are asked to RSVP no later than Tuesday, June 26, to Nora Zubia at 717-267-9741. Directions are available upon request.

Stories Behind the Stones – A Walking Tour of Cedar Grove Cemetery

Join the Franklin County Historical Society for a walking tour of Cedar Grove Cemetery. Living history actors will be stationed throughout the cemetery, portraying interesting people from the past. Meet at the Old Jail, 175 East King Street, Chambersburg.  We will be walking to the cemetery on Franklin Street.
Spots must be paid for and reserved ahead of time, as there is a 15 person limit for each group. No children under 6. 6-12 $5, adults $10. No pets, alcohol, or smoking please. You must be comfortable walking on the sidewalk and uneven ground on cemetery paths.

Friday, June 1
6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30
Saturday, June 2
6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30
Stop by the Old Jail TUESDAY-FRIDAY 10AM-4PM or call 717-264-1667 MONDAY-FRIDAY 10AM-4PM to pay for and reserve your slot. No reservations can be taken on Saturday, as office staff is not in. Event link here
